Who Goose is for

The short version

Built for people who track their training. Goose is for older teens and adults who exercise and want to log it: CrossFit-style workouts, strength sessions, runs, rides and the data from their watch.
You need to be 16 or over. That is the minimum age in our terms and privacy policy, on every platform.
Nothing in it is unsuitable for younger people. No ads, no chat, no other users, no web browsing, no gambling or loot boxes. The store ratings reflect that, but they describe the content, not who Goose is made for.

What Goose is

Goose is a training log. You paste a workout or import one from your watch, and Goose turns it into rounds, reps, loads and the muscles they worked. It shows training load, Freshness, recovery and sleep from your own data, compared with your own baseline. It is aimed at people who already train regularly and want to understand what each session did.

Minimum age: 16

To create an account you need to be at least 16. Goose is a paid subscription that holds health and fitness data, and 16 is the strictest age at which EU data protection law lets people agree to that themselves, so one rule works everywhere. We don't knowingly hold data from anyone under 16. If you think a child has signed up, email privacy@goosecoach.app and we'll delete the account.

What the app contains

Health and fitness topics. Training load, recovery, sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability and VO2 max, from your workouts and the trackers you connect.
One alcohol reference. The optional daily check-in can count drinks from the night before, because they affect sleep and recovery. It is your own entry; the app never shows or encourages drinking.
No medical advice. Goose's numbers are estimates to help you train. Goose is not a medical device and makes no medical claims.
Nothing shared with other people. Your workouts and notes are private to your account. There is no feed, chat, messaging or public profile.
No ads, analytics or tracking. Nothing is sold, and nothing about you goes to advertisers.
No unrestricted web access. Links open in your device's own browser.
No gambling, contests or loot boxes. The only purchase is the Goose Pro subscription.
No violence, sexual content, profanity, horror or mature themes.

Store ratings

The App Store age rating and the Google Play content rating come from questionnaires about what an app contains. Goose's answers are the list above: health and wellness topics and the infrequent alcohol reference, nothing else. A low rating means the content is mild, not that Goose is made for children. On Google Play, Goose's target audience is set to 16–17 and 18 and over.

For parents

Goose has nothing a younger teenager needs to be protected from, but it isn't designed for them: the minimum age is 16, it needs its own account and email address, and it is a paid subscription. If you have a question, email hello@goosecoach.app.
